Basic Video Production Class - No experience needed
2 day Intensive Training & Certification class.
FEE: $100.00 for Corvallis residents. $125.00 for non-residents.
This is a 2 day, project-based video production class. You will learn how to use CCAT's professional HD cameras, light kits, audio recording equipment and Final Cut Pro editing software. You will also learn how to do preproduction planning, interviewing,camera & lighting techniques, staging, editing, audio mixing and exporting to DVD. All student work will air on CCAT Ch.29.

This1 day intensive TV Studio Production class, will teach you how to use professional studio cameras, lighting fixtures, audio mics and mixers and the Tricaster switcher. You will also learn how to write, cast and produce a professional TV show which will air on CCAT Ch.29

Fundamentals of Production Audio
Tuesday July 19 - 6 to 9 PM - $25
Learn how sound works, about different types of microphones and how to use them, how to get great audio into a video camera, and how to identify and troubleshoot common problems. Participate in hands/ears-on demonstrations and use professional equipment.
Intro to Voiceover Recording

Create a professional voiceover recording for film/commercial production! Learn how to properly mic your talent, how to record using industry-standard Pro Tools audio software, and basic editing in Pro Tools
Audio Post Production & Editing:
Tuesday August 2 and August 9 - 6 to 9 PM - $40
A more comprehensive audio post-production class. Learn the fundamentals of Pro Tools, and how to edit and mix audio for a film/video production. Explore the mix process by learning to adjust volume levels, add effects, music and voiceover, and fix some common problems.
